Welcome one and all to the Aetherweb page of Mr. Arty Piston-Broke - Artisan and Fabricator of fine Steampunk-themed contraptions, gizmos and properties.

All of my work is custom-built to a very high standard of workmanship to the customers’ requirements, and as such will be a one-of-a-kind and un-repeatable, as a lot will depend on the availability of componentry and of course, the customers’ specifications and budget.
The majority of my work is made using traditional materials available to the Victorian period, such as metals, wood, glass and leather, although some components may have to be* modern plastics painted to appear like metals; such as base items for hand-gun props which may utilise stock items such as Nerf or similar.

If you have any ideas for props for your particular Steampunk persona or are simply looking for that one special unique item which I could realise for you, please contact me! Anything from small items such as jewellery pieces and medals to full size weapons, boilers and jetpacks!

Prices will be based upon the availability and cost of required materials and components plus manufacturing and labour. I work closely with my customers on their projects and am happy to discuss drawings/sketches and ideas as any project progresses. If you happen to have a project for which you already have sketches/plans or even some components which you have had in your ‘That might just come in handy one day’  box – all the better!
